L1 Desktop Support Specialist

The role is an integral part of our Service Desk team providing remote technical support and guidance to awesome customers. Excellent customer service skills are a key requirement alone with diagnosis of end-user issues.

The Day-to-Day…

  • You will be exposed to a wide range of problems and what you don’t know, we will help you to learn.

  • Excellent organizational skills are a must, along with a talent for deduction and logical thinking to identify solutions.

  • Respond to phone calls and new incoming requests

  • Your experience, willingness to learn, adapt and grow shines through in your communication both internally with our team and externally with our clients.

  • You are constantly striving to improve and have a passion for technology and assisting others.

What you bring…

  • A minimum of a college diploma in IT or equivalent work experience

  • Experience providing superior end user application and desktop support

  • Experience using a triaging or priority system to gauge client issues and impact

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft desktop O/S, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange

  • Standout communication skills

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated experience with Office 365, Sharepoint, Skype for Business/ Microsoft Teams

  • Standout communication skills

  • Recognition of the importance to document the solutions you find and share that information with others
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

  • A positive “can do” attitude with an ability to creatively arrive at a solution

  • An ability to put on your superhero cape and multi-task like a master

  • An understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services

  • Bilingualism (French and English)
